Dawn Wilkie

Hi. My name is Dawn, and I am currently fifty nine years old.

I have two young adult kids. I'm currently married.

I was in a near fatal automobile accident, May first nineteen ninety three. I know that was a while ago, but it it turned my life completely upside down and all the way around because I've always been physically fit and super physically active my whole life.

Though I've managed to put myself back together as best as I could, and at fifty years old, I took yoga teacher training.

I've had issues with my neck ever since the accident, and I've put off having surgery until I couldn't put it off anymore.

And, October the end of October in two thousand twenty three, I finally I I had to give in.

I I I was in so much pain. I couldn't physically move. I couldn't physically do anything, and I wound up having three discs fused in my neck.

I my body, I I couldn't do much for a couple of years, and my body had so bad. The muscles were gone.

I, my self esteem was in the tank. You know, I couldn't do anything, and I was always physically active. And it was just it was killing me, really. It was.

Anyway, the surgery went well even though I was scared to death to do it, but I, you know, I did it. I'm great surgeons. I was so thankful.

And afterwards, you know, once I was cleared, got that heavy duty neck brace off and I was cleared to start doing physical therapy, I saw an ad for Warrior Babe and I'm like, that's it right there. I I need help. I couldn't do my I couldn't do it myself anymore. So I came into Warrior Babe and I got the best coach in the world, Carrie Johnson. She is the bomb, I'm telling you. She has helped me mentally, physically, emotionally.

I mean, all the way around. She's helped me with more than just eating and exercise.

I I couldn't even do a lot of the exercise for the first almost year just because I was still recovering with my neck. But, I mean, I jumped right in to eating properly, eating my macros, drinking water. I haven't drink alcohol in years. Good thing. But, you know, I finally even gave up caffeine. I just live on water and in the morning, which is non caffeinated and, decaf tea, whatever.

But I I feel amazing now. I do. I feel totally amazing. I went from zero self esteem, hating my body, hating myself, to now I love myself.

Like, wow. I can actually look in the mirror and say, ah, hey, man. I love you. I love my body.

I love myself, and my self esteem is back, baby. Did I say that? Okay. Yeah.

I did. Anyway, I I'm so grateful to Carrie. I'm so grateful to Warrior Babe. This program is the best.

I saw, like, the testimonies of these women that had totally transformed their lives, and I have done exactly that. I have completely transformed my life. I am so elated.

I just saw the comparison picture from when I came in, like, December I think it was December seventh two thousand twenty three until last week, which was, like, mid March of two thousand twenty five, and I'm in awe. I'm in awe at the transformation of my body.

Now my weight has gone up a bit. Not a huge amount, but it's gone up because I'm eating properly.

I'm eating what I should be eating, and I'm not afraid to eat now.

But my body looks amazing.

I mean, I'm not gonna be afraid to put shorts on and short sleeve T shirts and even tank tops this summer.

And bathing suits. Maybe even a bathing suit and not worry about things.

I I'm in awe. I'm totally in awe. I I'm I'm so grateful. I am so grateful to Carrie. I love you, Carrie. Thank you so much. And Warrior Babe and Nikki Stott.

You know, when I saw her, I used to wanna be a bodybuilder back when I was in high school. I mean, I I really did Rachel McLeish. That was my anyway, that's way back when. But I I love this transformation. I love my body. I love who I am.

I love the women that I work with in on my team, on team Carrie Johnson, and I'm so grateful. I'm so grateful to have me back. I'm so grateful to be happy with who I am again.
