Hello, Warrior Babe community. My name is Michelle Bendy. I'm fifty nine years old from Saint George, Utah. I'm a software consultant as well as a yoga and a group fitness instructor.

I had been pretty knowledgeable coming into the program about fitness and macros. I was already tracking macros, and I had a really good solid fitness regimen down. I was working out four to five days a week strength training, but I couldn't seem to get to where I wanted to be. I wanted a leaner looking body. I wanted a firmer looking body, but I never ever wanted to sacrifice my health. So it was really important for me to find something that would, tackle both of those areas.

My husband had been in fitness and even owned a gym and always helped me, but he couldn't seem to get me to where I needed, and he was the one who actually found Warrior Babe for me. And I think the whole reason that he couldn't get to where I wanted to be was the fact that our hormones are different, and we have menopause to contend with. And so seeking out and finding Warrior Babe was kind of that missing puzzle piece that I needed to get to where I wanted to be.

So when I came into the program before that, I was only eating thirteen hundred calories. I was keeping my carbs low because that's what I thought I needed. I was always sore in my workouts. I was always tired. And one thing that I had to do, which was really hard, was to let go of those preconceived ideas or those things that I've been holding on to and trust the process as well as trust my coach.

So first couple weeks into the program, we started taking those calories up. We started focusing on protein and, you know, carbs, which were always something that I was afraid of. What I noticed right away is the energy that I had.

And in the gym, my strength just went through the roof. At one point, I leg pressed almost five hundred pounds.

So continuing to go through that process and retraining my body, getting my metabolism revved up, and then heading into maintenance. And when they say maintenance is magic, they're so they're so right because this is a point where you're feeling good, you're eating right, you're you're doing great in the gym, and you're really making progress.

I was really happy with the way my body was responding. My muscles were just coming out. I was getting compliments all the time, and it was a great way to really just feel like I was accomplishing something just from those comments.

So I stayed in maintenance for a while and decided it was time to go into my cut phase.

Prior to the cut phase, I went in and did a body fat scan. I wanted to see where that percentage was.

And during that three, three and a half months that I was in my cut, I was able to reduce my body fat by three percent based on the secondary scan.

May or cut is hard. It's it's not a fun phase.

Your energy starts to kinda decrease.

You're not as strong in the gym. I started feeling sore again, and I was hungry because you're beginning to reduce those calories. And this is where my coach, coach Kate Holly, really came in to help me to guide me. I probably talked with her on a more regular basis than I had before because I just needed more help, but she was always there to help me, always telling me to listen to my biofeedback, what my body was telling me, and then based on that feedback, making those adjustments.

So I'm at my one year mark. I feel that the program has given me the tools, the education, and the confidence to really continue on this journey now on my own. I can always go back into my cuts. I can always go back to my maintenance phases.

And I'm just I'm just really grateful that I found the program.

I'm grateful for the community, and I'm also very grateful to my coach, coach Kate Holly, for all that she's done to get me to where I need to be. My health markers are fabulous, and I'm really happy overall with both my health as well as the way I look. So thanks again, Warrior Babe.
