Hi. My name is Karen Perez. I just turned fifty two weeks ago.

I started in this in the fall of twenty twenty four.

No. Twenty three. Sorry.

I joined because after my third daughter was born, I slowly started packing on the pounds, and it turned out to be a lot. I think I gained seventy pounds in six months.

Might have been more than that, but I got up to a hundred and two hundred and twelve pounds when I started.

I've lost twenty five pounds.

Roughly, I'm I'm at one ninety now.

I still have a ways to go. After my second daughter was born, I was able to get down to my goal weight.

I looked great.

At least I like to think I was. And then after my third daughter, I just kinda I just kinda let go, and and it's been it's been several years now, and nothing seemed to help. I was doing cardio. I was doing weights.

I I wasn't changing my eating habits at all, really. I mean, I still would I would eat, but I would cut the meal in half so I wouldn't eat as much. Maybe I wasn't eating enough.

I just, I don't work outside of the home. I'm a stay at home mom.

My daughter died in two thousand twenty two. She was my second daughter.

And So I thought joining the program would be a great way to get back on track with my life, with my how I felt about myself.

I I picture myself like I was ten years ago, but when I look in the mirror, I'm like, that that doesn't look like me at all.

I I enjoy the program. I I don't mind tracking.

I I love the workouts.

I just like, you know, feeling better.

I struggle with water, but and the steps, sometimes I don't get around to it, but I'm working on it. I have my goals.

I just I think maybe a lot of women feel like they're stuck. You know? They they don't know where to start.

And I I think that was me. I I procrastinate.

I don't wanna do it, but then I do it.

I do a workout, and it makes me feel good about myself. I get on the Peloton and do my cardio, and I get on the walking machine and do my war my steps.

I think if you break it down into little chunks, it's easier to handle, you know, like the water, you know, drink so many ounces before noon and, drink so many before dinner and then maybe a cup after dinner.

The steps I mean, I could I could waste a whole half hour watching, you know, scrolling through the TV, finding out something I'd like to watch when I could be walking on my machine and just pick a show, just any show, you know, in the background and and do it, or take the dog out for a walk. Or, the macros aren't that hard.

I have a hard time when I go out to eat, but I try and track that before I go out to eat. If I know where I'm going, then I'll pick something that I know is on the menu. And
