At 42, Ines had already been through the cycle many women know too well. She worked with nutritionists who kept her in a big deficit, sometimes around 1,100 calories a day. She got results, held them for about a month, then watched the weight come back. Looking back, she realized they taught her how to cut but never how to maintain or how to eat for the rest of her life.
After more than five years of CrossFit left her exhausted, she found WarriorBabe through an Instagram ad and went straight into the modules. She moved to a regular gym and followed the programmed workouts. She started eating far more food than she was used to, and in three months she was down a couple of dress sizes. She says she ends most days feeling stuffed, and the scale still goes down the next morning.
Ines also credits the community. She posts in the Facebook group, reads what other members are doing and joins the live Q&As, even when she can only stay for part of one. Her advice: get involved, because the more you participate with the group, the team and Nikkiey, the more you get out of it.

Questions answered
Why does the weight come back after working with a nutritionist?
For Ines, the nutritionists kept her in a major deficit and taught her how to cut, but never how to maintain. After each program ended she stayed steady for about a month, then the pounds came back.
Can you lose weight eating more than 1,100 calories a day?
Ines says she now eats far more food than she did on her 1,100-calorie days and is still losing weight consistently. She often ends the day feeling stuffed and weighs less the next morning.
How fast did Ines see results with WarriorBabe?
Three months in, Ines was down a couple of dress sizes. She says she feels great, likes how she looks and knows she still has a way to go.
Do you have to do CrossFit to get results?
No. Ines did CrossFit for over five years and was exhausted by it, so she joined a regular gym and followed WarriorBabe's programmed workouts, which she found easy to follow.
What if I don't have time to stay for a whole WarriorBabe Q&A?
Ines suggests joining early and raising your hand. She says Nikkiey gets to people quickly, even if you can't stay for the whole session.
Full transcript
Ines: I am 42 years old. Prior to WarriorBabe, I was working with nutritionists, so they were always telling me what to do and when to do it. After our relationships would end, because I would get the results that I wanted, I would be okay for about a month and then the pounds kept coming on, and I never understood why. I realized afterward that the why is they taught me how to cut, but they never taught me how to maintain and how to live forever.
They always had me in a major deficit too, which I knew wasn't the best way for me, especially with the way I'm built, but I just went along with it because they know better than I do. So I realized this was not the right approach. I didn't want to work with someone who was just going to make me eat 1,100 calories a day, let's say, for the rest of my life, because that's not even remotely feasible.
I stumbled upon WarriorBabe via an Instagram ad, and I started looking into it and what it was about, as well as Nikkiey, and I was like, wow, this is amazing. She did this all on her own, and I want to learn. I want to know all the tricks and tips that she knows, because this is going to be me forever. I need to do this forever.
So I purchased the product and dove straight into the modules and absolutely loved it. I loved what she was telling us. I loved the positive energy. I loved knowing that she was also telling us how to work out. I did CrossFit for over five years and just got exhausted from it. I just didn't want to do it anymore. I wanted to go back to a regular gym and go back to doing regular workouts.
So I broke up with CrossFit and ended up joining a regular gym, and her workouts have been awesome. She tells you what to do. It's very programmed out as to how your week should be, so it's been super easy to follow.
And the eating. I can't believe how much food I'm eating and I'm still losing weight consistently. It's been three months now and I'm down a couple of dress sizes, and it's just been amazing. I feel great. I feel that I look great, and I'm looking forward to the rest of my journey. I know I still have a decent way to go, but I can see the end, and I see the end being that I can eat a lot of food forever, and this is absolutely amazing.
So I'm definitely looking forward to being where I want to be and not living on 1,100-calorie days. Even now, I'm eating so much food and I'm still losing weight. I am blown away at how much it's fixed and changed my metabolism, so that I can have an enjoyable meal without suffering over, now what am I going to eat? I'm starving, and I can't because I'm trying to cut. That's never the case for me now. I'm always fully satisfied when the day's over. I'm like, I'm stuffed, and then I weigh myself the next day and I've lost weight. It's amazing. So I am looking forward to getting to the exact place that I want to be, and I know that you will too.
I highly recommend this program. If you want to learn how to do it and do it on your own, this is the best way for you to do it. You need to learn how to do this.
With that said, the accountability is amazing too. I jump in the Facebook group. I read what everyone else is doing, and it's exciting and it's awesome. Everyone has been super helpful. Whenever I've posted, everyone's jumped in and helped me and guided me as to what I should do, Nikkiey included, which has been amazing. I definitely recommend using them. They are all there to help you. We all want to help each other.
Also, jump on the Q&As. Even if you don't have the time, jump on early and raise your hand. If you aren't able to stay on the whole time, Nikkiey gets to you, and she gets to you pretty quickly. So definitely be involved. You will get more out of this the more involved you are with the group and with the team. Nikkiey wants to help you and wants to teach you how to do this. So it's absolutely amazing, and I wish you the best with this.
