If keto, intermittent fasting, low-carb or a Beachbody program once worked for you, it's natural to run back to it the moment progress slows. In this rally call, Nikkiey Stott reads from the book You Squared and explains why that habit can quietly cap your results. The behaviors that served you best in the past can lose their usefulness and become the biggest obstacle to your next level of progress.
Nikkiey talks directly to women who feel uneasy with the WarriorBabe approach: eating more food, eating carbs, eating breakfast before training. She says new behaviors are supposed to feel awkward and risky at first, and that you have to get comfortable being uncomfortable and give your body enough time to break through before you judge the method.
She also welcomes new members, explains why the first 14 days of onboarding videos matter so much, addresses a community rules violation, and closes by asking you to set big goals for the month and keep your standards high.
Key takeaways
- Behaviors that worked for you in the past can lose their serviceability over time and become the major obstacles to your future success.
- When progress stalls, falling back on old methods like keto or intermittent fasting creates a trap, because there is a reason those methods weren't sustainable.
- New behaviors such as eating more, eating carbs and eating soon after waking will often feel awkward or risky at first, so get comfortable being uncomfortable.
- Nikkiey recommends eating before you work out because it fuels your body and gives you energy for training.
- Give your body enough time to break through a stall instead of abandoning the plan and switching back to an old diet.
- Even when progress isn't visible every week, you are still making progress, so keep trusting the process.
- New members should complete the first 14 days of onboarding videos, which cover goals, your deeper reasons why, macros and workouts, so they don't get overwhelmed and quit in the first two weeks.
- Set big, inspiring goals for the month, keep making them bigger, and set your standards high.
Questions answered
Why do diets that worked for me before stop working?
Nikkiey explains that approaches that worked in the past can lose their serviceability over time. If they had truly worked long term, you wouldn't need to keep starting over, and relying on them can become the major obstacle to your future success.
Should I go back to keto or intermittent fasting if my progress stalls?
Nikkiey says no. She has seen women hit a halt, go back to old methods without giving their body enough time to break through, and then return saying keto didn't work when they tried it again.
Why does eating more food feel so uncomfortable at first?
According to the video, new behaviors make us feel clumsy, awkward and more at risk, so eating more and eating carbs can feel like you're going to gain weight. Nikkiey says you have to get comfortable being uncomfortable and trust the process.
Should I eat breakfast before working out?
Nikkiey says yes. She explains that food is fuel that gives you energy for your workout, and says that eating means your cortisol won't rise.
What should I do first when I join WarriorBabe?
Nikkiey asks new members not to ignore the first 14 days of videos sent by email. They help you set your standards, define your goals and reasons why, and get started with macros and workouts so you don't get overwhelmed and give up.

Nikkiey: What's up, WarriorBabe? Hey, everybody. Nikkiey here, and welcome to our WarriorBabe Revolution Rally Call. I am so excited to be hanging out with you guys right now. I seriously find so much joy and excitement coming to these calls every single Sunday and every single Wednesday in the Q&A. It fires me up knowing that you WarriorBabes are on the other end listening to me right now, and I am somebody who can help you and hold you accountable with the actions that you are going to take next. It gets me so amped, and I am so stoked to be here right now. So welcome, you guys, to our Sunday Rally Call. It is 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, and I'm super excited, like I said, to be here with you guys.
So, before we dive into this Rally Call, I think you guys should go in and let the other WarriorBabes know that this call is getting started right now, and make sure that they're joining in, because not only are we moving into a new week, but we just started a new month. And I know what I'm going to talk about on today's topic is going to sink home for a lot of you WarriorBabes, and especially for a lot of our new WarriorBabes who are just joining, and it can make a huge difference in the outcomes that you all start mentally focusing on for yourselves moving forward. If it hasn't already sunk in from me talking about it on Q&As, or talking about it here and there inside the group, or in my videos, or from things you see me doing on Instagram, I think right now, because these calls are so intimate with our community, this is going to sink in even more. So tell the other WarriorBabes to get on this call right now if they want to join in, because it's going to help the mentality of the progression that you all seek moving forward.
I'm taking it from a book that I've had access to through friends for the past couple of months, but my Amazon order finally came in the other day after waiting three weeks for it. So I'm super excited, because now the book is in my hands. I'm going to use it to help you guys, because I read through it, and there are some tidbits that hit home to me, and I'm like, I know this can hit home for them. And I know that a lot of you have reached out to my support team asking what book it is that I shared on my Instagram story the other day, which I love. So I decided to bring it to our rally call tonight, and it's going to be absolute fire.
So before we dive into this rally call topic, I do want to welcome all of our new WarriorBabes who have joined us this past week and over the last couple of weeks. If this is your first rally call, welcome, guys. I'm stoked for you to be a part of this amazing community that we have. You're literally a part of thousands of other women inside the WarriorBabe community who are focusing on becoming stronger, more confident versions of themselves. WarriorBabe is, and I will continue to say this forever, where strong is the new sexy. We are representing something different that nobody is really aware of. Or they are, they just don't know how to obtain the results that we have, and this is going to chime into the topic I'm talking about, because of society and the norm of what people think they need to do in order to achieve success. But that method doesn't work anymore.
And that's what I'm bringing here to you inside of WarriorBabe: for you to establish the love for food and the understanding that in order to really get the muscle that you all want, you've got to eat more, and you've got to train differently than anything that's ever really been presented out there before. So welcome to all the new WarriorBabes. I am so excited that you are a part of this community. I know I'm biased, but our community is so supportive, so inspiring.
And let me tell you, I'm going a little off here, but it has to be a part of this, because it is a part of our community. I am well aware of the woman inside of our group today who posted, hey, do you guys need help with weight loss? If so, reach out to me. And then there were you guys commenting underneath it, isn't this what this program was supposed to do? And that woman responded back and said, yeah, but do you really get everything you're supposed to get? Guys, I want you to know that we have hawk eyes on our community at all times. And you better know that that woman has been deleted and removed from our community because she went against our rules, and we have canceled her membership. We don't support that kind of stuff in this community whatsoever. And I don't support somebody coming in and pushing something that may not even work or some kind of bullshit thing that's maybe not even real. So if anybody saw that, it is handled. And if anybody else wants to step in like that, you will be immediately booted from our community. No joke. I'm not handling that kind of stuff.
But anyway, that's what I love about our community. You guys jump in and say, why are you even chiming in and saying that? WarriorBabes stick together, and that's why you're all so amazing.
So, again, welcome to all the new WarriorBabes. Please do not ignore the first 14 days of videos that are coming to you via email. Those videos are going to help you set the standards for yourself inside of WarriorBabe: what I expect, what your goals are, why you want to achieve them, what your deep-seated reasons why are. And diving into macros and understanding them, and diving into workouts. Everything that you need to get started is within those first 14 days. They're not only there to help you get familiar with the program, but also to set the foundation for your journey here. A lot of people come in and they're overwhelmed by, what do I need to do first? What do I need to do now? I was supposed to hit my macros like yesterday. And then they end up giving up within two weeks because they're so overwhelmed and they feel like they messed up. These 14 days are going to carry you past the two weeks, and you're going to be so excited, so amped, and know everything that you need to do moving forward. So do not ignore those videos coming to you for the first 14 days. It's literally one task to complete that's going to set you up for long-term success here inside of WarriorBabe.
All right, babes, let's dive into today's topic. I am really excited to chat about this. I gave you a glimpse of what it was about at the beginning of this rally call. Today's topic is change your personal rules for success. Change your personal rules for success. I'm going to read the tidbit in this book that I just shared with you, and you'll be able to tell when I'm veering off and sharing what I think you need to hear and what's going to hit home for you.
So, a broad overview of what to expect from this topic: maybe you're someone who finds yourself saying, well, this worked for me in the past, so I'm going to still try that. But you're here inside of WarriorBabe, and I may be saying to do something different. Or maybe you're somebody who says, well, I don't like to eat breakfast in the morning because I've just always done that. And I'm here telling you, yeah, you've got to eat breakfast before you work out. Because it's fuel. Your cortisol is not going to rise, and it's fuel for your body. It's fuel so you have energy for your workout. So if you are somebody who is so roped up in past successes, this rally call is about to rock your world. All right? So let's dive in.
"As human beings, though we ordinarily go with the obvious, we fall into the habit of relying on behaviors that seem to have worked best for us over the years. When we take an approach that seems to be very serviceable and which enables us to perform well and succeed, we become very attached to it. We don't readily relinquish that habit pattern. In fact, there's a tendency to follow our favorite approach more and more often, such that we get better and better at handling things that particular way." But let me tell you how this certain approach results in our over-dependence on the strategies and tactics that evolve, and we resist new maneuvers because they make us feel clumsy, awkward and more at risk.
Let that sink in for a second. Anybody who has had past successes doing, I don't know, Beachbody or low-carb or intermittent fasting or keto, okay? And then you're coming into WarriorBabe and I'm like, hey, guys, let's eat all the carbs. Let's really raise our caloric intake. Let's fuel our body with lots and lots of food. Let's eat as soon as you wake up and as soon as you work out. And you may be resisting me on some of those things because it may be awkward. It may feel like you're putting yourself at risk and you're going to gain all of this weight.
Let me tell you how that kind of mindset can really mess up the results you want to achieve moving forward. If you are so roped up in the past successes you've had, and you think this one particular way works, well, why are you here inside of WarriorBabe? Because obviously those methods weren't sustainable. You didn't truly get results that could be long-lived. And you're here because I'm teaching you a method and a strategy that's going to carry you to the results you want, eating twice the amount of food. But you've got to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. And trust me in the process. Trust me now, believe me later.
"If you want to accelerate your rate of achievement rapidly, you must search out and vigorously employ new behaviors, new attitudes. You must be willing to break out of your routines in order to make the quantum leap," in order to become the next best version of yourself, in order to become, like this book is called, You Squared. If you want to accelerate your rate of achievement rapidly, you must search out and vigorously employ new behaviors, new attitudes.
So you saw, coming into WarriorBabe, well, this chick knows what she's talking about. And damn well I do know what I'm talking about. And I have new behaviors for you to employ. I have new attitudes for you to take. You must be willing to break out of your previous routines, previous successes, previous things that you've tried, in order to make the kind of progress that you want to see for yourself moving forward. End of story. Period. I could really just stop there. I'm going to keep going because there are still more paragraphs on this page.
So the things that worked for you in the past very likely could sooner or later lose their serviceability. Right? It may not propel you to higher achievement levels if you continue to rely on these old routines, maybe even leaning on them most when your performance flattens out or sags. So if you aren't seeing progress in your journey right now, you're going to be like, oh, but keto works, or intermittent fasting works, so I'm going to rely heavily on my old routines. But guess what? You can create a trap for yourself doing that.
If you go backwards, yeah, it may be something that works for one week. I've seen it. I've seen WarriorBabes who have done the WarriorBabe method, and then progress hit a halt and they didn't allow enough time for their body to break through. So they went back to old methods, and then they come back to WarriorBabe saying, keto didn't work. I tried it. I did it again and it just didn't work.
Guys, I hope this is hitting you in the head. I have the book in my hand. I'm literally talking to you as if I'm friends with you right now. I hope you know that. I'm envisioning one of you WarriorBabes in front of me. I have the book in my hand, and just think that I'm hitting you over the head with the book right now. I'm literally just hitting thin air. No joke. There have been so many people who are reinvesting themselves into WarriorBabe, or coming back and getting started on their macros again, because the old routines they put themselves into created a trap for them.
The next line is that there's a certain irony here. Your historically most dependable behaviors can become the major obstacles to future success. If you're constantly going back to your old success stories or your most dependable behaviors, thinking this worked or that worked, they become major obstacles to your future success. You are not allowing the new behaviors that I'm trying to teach you, the new attitudes that I'm trying to show you, the new things that I had to break through.
I was once in your shoes. I had to break through from thinking that this stuff used to work, to now embracing the fact that I can have cheeseburgers and barbecue and still hit the results that I want. I had to embrace a new behavior and a new attitude, and that is exactly what you are being handed inside of WarriorBabe right now. But are you willing to let go of your old routines? Are you willing to get outside of the trap that you're setting for yourself by thinking that the old stuff has worked?
It's possible for those kinds of old habits and old routines to cripple your progress moving forward. They may stand as a personal boundary line that limits you, that limits what you can accomplish with your body and the results that you want. Let me say this again. The old routines, the old stuff, may stand as a personal boundary line that limits what you can accomplish with your body. Now, I'm adding that in. It says with life, but I'm talking to you about bodies and transformations right now, so I'm putting it in the context of what we're talking about.
And if this didn't blow your mind, I hope it did. I want to know what you thought in the Facebook group. Let me know. Give me this feedback, because this is a golden nugget book right now, and this is only one page. Each little page has its own little story to it. And I can pull from this on a weekly basis and just come here and literally call everybody's bluff with what they need to hear right now. Hit you over the head with the book and tell you to believe me in the methods that I am teaching you, even if progress isn't happening on a weekly basis. You are still making progress no matter what.
But please, please promise me, WarriorBabes, right now, that you will not fall back into your old routines. You will not trap yourself into thinking, oh, well, this thing used to work for me, so I'm going to go back to it. Because guess what? There's a reason why it didn't work. If you rely on those old routines, you're creating a trap for yourself. Those things are losing their meaning, right? They will lose their serviceability for you. If you want to accelerate your rate of achievement rapidly, you must search out and vigorously employ new behaviors, new attitudes. You must be willing to break out of your routines in order to become the best version of yourself. And that is exactly what I'm handing you inside of WarriorBabe.
So promise me, please promise me right now, that you will change your personal rules for your success moving forward. And let this rally call really sink in. Twenty minutes. Hot off the press right now, you guys. That was a fire rally call. Now, take it. Listen to what I'm saying. Start taking action. Start creating. Start really engulfing and embedding yourself into what I'm teaching you. Immerse yourself.
Everybody, follow me on Instagram. Legit. I am more on Instagram. It's more of a hangout spot for me. I'm showing you my days in, days out, what I do on a daily basis, how I eat, my workouts. You can see how I really pull my stuff together. And I'm real raw with you. You know that. That's why I think our community is the way it is, because I'm real, raw, open and honest with you. And I'm blunt and to the point. No bullshit. All the truth that you need to hear to pull yourselves out of your own way.
All right? So let me know how you liked that rally call. Tell me in the Facebook group. And we'll keep these kinds of rally calls going week to week, as always. I love you guys. Keep up the amazing work. Set new, inspiring goals. Make your goals really big for this month. Continue to make them bigger. And set your standards high. All right, guys. Have a good rest of your evening. Bye, everybody.
