BillieJo is a stay-at-home mom of three boys who wanted to be in the best shape of her life by her 40th birthday. She was going to the gym constantly and had hired about three trainers, but she wasn't seeing the results she wanted. The plans were cookie-cutter: a friend hired the same trainer and got the exact same plan.
What she needed was to learn how to do it herself: how to feed and fuel her body, enjoy life and still build muscle. She joined the WarriorBabe Blueprint in October and is honest that it is taking a while to fully get it, because the learning comes in stages.
Her biggest point is that the program set her up for life, not just for six weeks. Anyone can calculate macros, she says, but being taught how to do it for yourself, and how your macros need to change depending on what you're trying to do with your body, is what means she no longer needs another trainer or program.
Key takeaways
- Going to the gym over and over without the right plan may not get you the results you want.
- Be wary of cookie-cutter plans: BillieJo's friend hired the same trainer and received the exact same plan she did.
- Look for an approach that teaches you how to feed and fuel your body so you can do it yourself.
- You can enjoy life and still build muscle when you know how to fuel your body.
- Expect learning to take time; BillieJo describes it as coming in stages and says she is still working on it.
- A short program that ends after six weeks can leave you asking 'now what?', so aim for skills that last for life.
- Your macros need to change depending on what you are trying to do with your body, so learning to adjust them yourself matters more than being handed numbers.

BillieJo: Hi guys, greetings from Jamaica. I just wanted to come on and give a little testimonial about the WarriorBabe Blueprint and tell you how it's changed my life.
First, let me tell you about me. First of all, this is Jamaica. I'm on vacation. My name is BillieJo. I am a stay-at-home mom. I will be 40 in two weeks, and I wanted to be in the best shape of my life.
I have three boys at home, 13, 11 and 7. I joined in October of last year because I had been going to the gym, going to the gym, going to the gym, going to the gym, and I just wasn't seeing the results that I wanted. I had hired probably three trainers at that point, and it was all cookie-cutter. My friend hired the same trainer and she had the exact same plans that I had.
I needed something more. I needed to learn how to do it for myself. I needed to know the underground, so to speak, of it all.
So what happened was, I kept seeing these amazing pictures of Nikkiey. I was following her, and then I started seeing that she was starting a program. Well, when someone you admire is starting a program and she's teaching you how to feed your body, fuel your body, and how to enjoy life and still make muscles, yes, that's what I needed.
So again, I signed up in October. It's taking me a while to completely get it. I'm still working on it, but I think that's just the way it is, because it's really in stages.
But I have tried to tell numerous people how amazing this program is, because there's nothing else like it. I feel like this program has set me up for life, not just for six weeks. Most of you that have hired trainers in the past know exactly what I mean. After that six weeks is over, it's like, now what? Now what? What do I do now? So I just wanted to let everybody know how life-changing the program is.
And I'm not trying to sell you anything. I'm just trying to be honest. Anyone can calculate macros, but not everyone will take the time to teach you how to do it for yourself and how your macros need to constantly change depending on what you're trying to do with your body. It's just an amazing program altogether.
I will use this program for the rest of my life. I seriously do not need any other trainer. I don't need any other programs. I have all the information I need now. Thanks, Nikkiey.
