In this video

If you are great at starting a new program but three or four weeks in you lose steam, jump to the next shiny thing and wonder six months later why nothing has changed, this rally call is for you. Nikkiey Stott was inspired by a Blueprint coaching call with a woman who kept switching goals, from fat loss to wanting to run a marathon, and she explains exactly why that pattern keeps you stuck.

Nikkiey's message is simple: pick one goal, commit to it 100 percent and see it through to the end. Doing five things at once sends your body mixed signals, and quick fixes might give you a few weeks of results before you are back at square one. She walks through why getting clear on your deeper why makes it easier to say no to distractions, and how the cycle of belief, action, results and feedback builds momentum the longer you stay with it.

She also shares her own five years of sticking with the process, and reminds you that results take time and look different for everyone. When you hit a low, you pull back to the goals you set, take action again and keep going.

Key takeaways

  • Pick one goal for yourself, commit to it 100 percent and see it through to the end instead of starting over again and again.
  • Stop chasing every new program you see marketed online, because doing five things at once will not get you the results you want.
  • Jumping between very different programs sends your body mixed signals and keeps you from getting anywhere faster.
  • Get clear on what you want and why you want it beyond surface-level goals like losing weight, so you have something to carry you through when you want to give up.
  • Set goals that scare you and push you outside your comfort zone so you commit to them no matter what emotion you are feeling.
  • If your goal is something like a marathon, commit to it fully and figure out your macros, because you need to eat a lot more food to fuel it and maintain muscle.
  • Belief drives action, action drives results, and positive feedback from those results builds stronger beliefs, so keep logging your meals and going to the gym.
  • Expect results to take time: some women see them in four to five weeks and others take eight, and when you hit a low, pull back to your goals and take action again.

Questions answered

Why am I good at starting fitness programs but never finish them?

Nikkiey explains that many women chase new shiny objects, start a completely different program, get some results within weeks and then end up back at square one. Without a clear goal and a deeper why, motivation fades a few weeks in because it is only surface-level.

Why am I not seeing results after six months of trying different programs?

According to Nikkiey, it is because you keep choosing different programs and different things to dive into. What you need to do is focus on one thing, commit to it fully and see it through to the end.

How long does it take to see fitness results?

Nikkiey says everyone starts at a different spot, so some women may see results in four to five weeks while others take eight weeks. What matters is committing to it.

How do I stay motivated when I don't feel like going to the gym?

Nikkiey says to set clear goals and a strong why, including goals that scare you, so you commit no matter what emotion you are feeling. When you hit a low, pull back to the goals you want to accomplish and take action again.

Do I need to eat more if I'm training for a marathon?

Nikkiey says yes: you need to eat a lot more food to run a marathon because you are burning energy, and you also need to eat a lot of food to maintain your muscle while you train.

Nikkiey: What's up, WarriorBabes? Hey everyone, Nikkiey here. Guys, I'm fired up. I'm so fired up, so excited to be on this call with you guys. Happy Sunday. Welcome to our WarriorBabe Revolution rally call. So as always, let's dive into this. We'll get started in a few minutes. Guys, go into the Facebook group. Let them know I'm fired up. I just got off the Q&A with the Blueprint Babes, and this topic is coming straight off that Q&A and listening to them, and I'm going to share it with you guys, because I know that there are women inside the Revolution that need to hear it right now. It was an eye-opening thing for one of the babes in the Blueprint, and so I wanted to help you guys too.

So we'll get started in a few minutes. Go inside the Facebook group, leave a comment, let the other WarriorBabes know this call is getting started. They don't want to miss it. It's going to really motivate everybody to focus on moving into this new week super, super strong. All right, so go let them know this call is getting started.

I want to give a huge shout-out, before we get this call started, to all of the new WarriorBabes who have joined us this week. You guys, welcome. I am so excited that you are here. You're part of a community of thousands of women who are getting strong and becoming strong, more confident versions of themselves. You are a WarriorBabe. WarriorBabe is where strong is the new sexy. So I'm super stoked that you're here. And to all the veteran WarriorBabes, I'm super stoked that you guys are showing up for yourselves on a daily basis. You're inspiring all the new WarriorBabes who are coming in. And then I'm sure those new WarriorBabes who are coming in super excited are inspiring you to continue to keep going. That is why our community is so freaking amazing. It's so supportive. It's so inspiring. I love you guys so, so freaking much. And it's 2020 right now. It's a new year. So we're dropping this call at a great time, because it's going to really motivate you guys and light the fire under your ass moving forward. All right.

Real quick, before we dive into this topic, just so you guys know: if you're new, or even if you are a veteran WarriorBabe, please, please, please take the time to go through the Blast Off email sequence that is sent to you within the first 14 days of joining WarriorBabe. Or you can go to the Facebook unit inside of our group, click on the unit and go through all of the 14 videos that help you get super clear on what you want to accomplish being a WarriorBabe. Why you're here. What goals you have in mind for yourself. Why you want to accomplish them. Committing to them. It's a big topic that we talk about today. So definitely take the time to go through them. Don't ignore them. Because if you ignore them, you're going to be one of those people inside this program who's three weeks in and losing their motivation because you don't know what you're here to accomplish. Yeah, you want to lose weight. Yeah, you want to put on some muscle. But that's surface-level stuff. Those videos are going to help you get super deep within you, because this is really unique to you. This is your own journey and your own experience. So put in what it's worth and you will get the results that you want.

One last thing before we dive into the topic. Please, guys, if you're new, don't be the person asking questions inside our community that can be answered inside the application. Take your time to go through the application. Take the time to search through the workouts and all of the material that is inside there. If your question can't be answered inside the app, then you can click on the Need Help button inside the application, and that's going to take you to our Frequently Asked Questions page. It's an entire platform with all of our most frequently asked questions, where you can look at the articles and find the answers to the questions that you have. Now, if your question can't be answered inside the app or inside the Frequently Asked Questions, then go to the Facebook group and ask your fellow WarriorBabes for help, okay? Because that's what this community is here for.

Lastly, I'm just checking the Facebook group to see if anybody has said anything. I don't see anything. All right, so let's dive into this topic. It's going to be a good one, guys. Listen up, okay?

If you are a really, really good starter at something but you're a terrible finisher, I'm going to pinpoint why the fuck you're a terrible finisher. And this is inspired, like I said, by the Blueprint, where one of the babes was speaking to me, and what did she say? She said she's throwing monkey wrenches all over the place. She's doing one goal, and then she jumps to another goal, and then she jumps to another goal. And this is what happens with a lot of women. Are you somebody who does that? I know I'm talking to many women on here who see a new shiny object. They see the marketing on Facebook, they jump into it, they want results yesterday, and they start doing a new program that's completely different from the program they were doing before. They're sending Morse code to their body, because their body's like, well, wait, you were just doing this, now you're doing this, wait, what? And you're throwing your mind and your body all these different things because you're trying to get somewhere faster, right?

This babe was telling me, you know, I haven't talked to you in two months. It's been the holidays, blah, blah, blah. I'm all over the place. And now I think I'm having a midlife crisis, and I think I want to run a marathon. And I'm just like, holy shit, what? I even said that to her. I'm like, what the? You're all over the place. And I know that many of you guys can be all over the place. In my VIP program, there's a babe who's been in it for eight or nine months, and she has come to me two or three times wanting to accomplish different goals. And that, to me as a coach, throws me into having to do different programming and different macros.

And I'm putting my foot down. What you guys need to do is pick a goal for yourself, fully 100 percent commit to it, and see it through all the way to the end. Because if you are somebody who is starting and starting again and starting again, and you're going all over the place, and then six months later you're like, well, what the fuck, why am I not seeing results? Well, guys, it's because you're choosing different programs and different things to dive into, when what you really need to do is focus on one thing. Focus on one thing.

If you guys have been a WarriorBabe but you're also like, hey, there's this or there's that, and then you're doing WarriorBabe on top of it, that's just not going to get you the results that you seek, or what I'm trying to portray for you inside of WarriorBabe. You need to focus on one thing. Because let me tell you, there are many things out there that will work for you, but if you're doing five things at once, it's not going to get you the results that you want. Focus on one thing. WarriorBabe works. It's worked for thousands of women. You just need to commit to it. Don't be the one chasing the new shiny object, or have ADD and be like, oh wow, this looks awesome, this person looks great, I'm going to try this. And then you probably get results within a matter of weeks, but then you're back to square one, right? You guys are really good starters. You're super excited about starting something. And then come three or four weeks into it, you get results and you're like, okay, where the fuck do I go now?

This is why I built WarriorBabe. WarriorBabe gives you updated programs and updated workouts month to month to month. It's not a fad. It's not a 30-day quick fix or a 21-day quick fix. It's going to get you sustainable, long-lasting results. But the thing is, it's a journey. It's a lifestyle. It's not a fad. It's not something that's going to be done in seven weeks. It's something that's going to help you change the lifestyle things that you're going through right now.

If you are somebody who is a quick fixer, you will come into this program and you will be able to pick up lifestyle changes, like understanding that it takes time, understanding that results aren't going to happen yesterday. Every one of you guys is on this journey, and every one of you guys is starting at a different spot, right? When you come into something, you may have to fix a lifestyle habit that somebody else doesn't. And you may have been the person who wanted results yesterday, but understand that you're getting into a lifestyle program here, and you're going to be developing the tools and resources as you go throughout this program. Many of you guys may see results in four to five weeks. Some of you guys are going to take eight weeks. Everyone is different. But the thing is that you have to commit to it. Right now, that should be your 2020 goal and focus.

If you are somebody who is all over the fucking place, wanting to do this, wanting to do CrossFit, wanting to do a marathon, wanting to do a bodybuilding show, but you don't know exactly what you want, you need to commit to what you want to accomplish and see it through until the end. If it's a marathon, commit the fuck to it. Figure out what your macros need to be, because you need to be eating a lot more food in order to run a marathon, because you're burning energy through that. And then, to maintain the muscle that you guys want, you have to be eating a lot of food to maintain that muscle as you run a marathon. You see what I mean?

If you're here to lose weight and burn body fat, then you need to commit to that, and you need to focus on that. You need to see WarriorBabe through until the end, because that's exactly what the tools and resources are giving you inside the program. So whatever your goal may be, that is why the Blast Off emails are so vitally important. Because people can be really good starters, and then they're three weeks in and they're like, what the fuck am I doing? Why am I even here? What goals am I trying to accomplish? And then they lose their motivation, because it's just surface-level shit. But once you truly understand what you want to accomplish and what you want to strive for, that's where the commitment becomes easier, because you get excited about why you're doing this.

Those Blast Off emails are so important, because in the first couple of days you're setting your goals. You're setting your why. You're setting the things that are going to carry you through the points where you want to give the fuck up, when you're two months in and you're like, oh, well, I don't feel like going to the gym. Well, Cheryl, why the fuck don't you feel like going to the gym when your goals are so much bigger than you? You've got to step outside of your comfort zone. And by doing that, you're going to set goals that scare the fuck out of you. And when you do that, you're committing to those goals no matter what emotion you're feeling. And that's what's going to carry you through to be a really good freaking finisher. Once you're clear on what you want to accomplish, when these different shiny objects come your way, it's going to be super simple to say no to them, because you know they're not going to help you get where you want to be. They're just instant quick fixes out there.

So let me just take a breath here for a second, okay? I'm telling you, I'm fired up. Pam, if you're there: I told her, if we have any events, I'm going to stand on stage, call her name out, and come smack her hand. Because from the moment she joined the Blueprint, I wanted to reach through my computer, grab her shoulders and shake her, because she has jumped between different things. And she's still here. She's three or four months in and still getting started, still trying to get the results that she wants. And guys, if you just know what you want, you set that goal, and you know why you want to accomplish it, it's going to be so much clearer what actions you need to take for yourself.

Remember what I said before: the beliefs you have for yourself, whether you can do it or you cannot do it. Beliefs that are goal-oriented, super strong and focused on the end result are going to drive you into taking action, right? So whether you believe you can or can't do it, either you're going to take action like, oh, fuck MyFitnessPal, I don't want to focus on macros, it's too freaking hard. Or it's going to be the other avenue: I'm committed to my freaking goals. This is going to get me to love food, because food is fuel. So that's the action I'm going to take. I'm going to sit down, I'm going to do my MyFitnessPal, I'm going to go to the gym. I'm committed to my goals.

And guys, guess what? Those actions get you the results that you're seeking. If your belief is I can't do this, and you don't put in the action of logging your macros, hitting your macros and going to the gym, then you're still going to be struggling four to six months later. Or, even if you think you can't do it, if you put in the work and take action, logging your meals, going to the gym, the results are going to be what you want them to be. And then you're going to get the feedback, good or bad: high endorphins, feeling really good, getting the results that you want. And then you're going to keep going and altering your beliefs every single time you go through the feedback loop. Your beliefs are going to get stronger. This is working. I feel really good. I feel awesome seeing results. I'm taking action daily. I'm getting the results that I want. Constant feedback that's positive, positive, positive.

But if you're somebody who believes that you can't, and you're trying different things and your mind's all over the place, then the action becomes, well, what do I actually do? Do I do this program? Do I do a marathon? Do I do this? What do I do? Right? That was Pam saying, Nikkiey, what do I do now? And her results were that she's still, four months in, trying to figure out what the fuck she wants to do. She's going around in this loop of, oh, what do I do? Marathon? Oh, shit. Okay. You guys see what I mean?

You have to 100 percent start, commit, and see it through to the end. Don't keep changing into different programs. Don't chase the new shiny object that's out there. Commit to it. You are here in WarriorBabe, which has helped thousands of women and has given you the tools and the resources to see you through to the goals that you want to accomplish. Get the fuck out of your own way and actually commit and see it through to the end. Guys, it's as simple as that. Legitimately, it's as simple as that, and yet we all complicate it and make it so much fucking harder than it actually is.

All it is is knowing what you want to do, taking action, getting your results, having positive feedback, and then intercepting your beliefs and creating new beliefs. I can do this. This is working. Action: going to the gym, hitting macros. Guys, this is what I've been doing for the past five years. Five years. Once I saw the results, I fell in love with this process. I was like, wow, food is fuel. Wow, I feel amazing. Wow, I'm looking great. Constant positive feedback. New beliefs. I can do this. Food is great. I'm eating 3,000 calories. What? That's insane, but I'm getting the results that I want. Positive feedback, going into new beliefs. Action, results, feedback. That's the name of the game, guys.

It's not complicated. It's so fucking simple. Stop overcomplicating it. Stop chasing the new shiny object. Stop being the terrible fucking finisher. Be a really good starter and see it through all the way to the end. The way you're going to do that is by committing to it. Okay, now I'm just going in circles and repeating myself. I think I'm going to lose my voice. Oh, man.

So guys, I hope that you enjoyed that rally call. I'm going to leave it at that. I want you guys to go into this new week committing to what your goals are. And no matter the highs, the lows, no matter what you encounter on your journey, if it's a low, pull back to the freaking goals that you want to accomplish. That's why they're so key to set in stone, because you will have ups and downs. You will fail. But as long as you can focus back on the goals that you want to accomplish, it's going to be easy for you to take action again.

All right, guys, I love you all. Make sure to tune in to these rally calls every single Sunday at 5 or 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, if you feel motivated and lit up right now. This happens every single week, and it's really key that you plug into this every single week that you're here inside of WarriorBabe. Immerse yourself in WarriorBabe. Get yourself believing in this process more and more, because that's going to get you the results you want. So I'll see you guys on our Q&A on Wednesday, which I'm super excited about, and then we'll be here for our next rally call in one week. Have an awesome week, guys. I love you all. Bye, everyone. Thank you.
