Hi. My name is Shannon. I am forty seven years old, mom of three.
I am in perimenopause, and I struggled big time because I was no stranger to working out. So I was working out, you know, six and seven days a week, hardly eating because that's what I thought you were supposed to do.
And what used to work doesn't work anymore. And so I was getting no results even though I was working out so hard. If I'm gonna work out that hard, I wanna look like it. And I just was getting nowhere. Actually, it was going in the opposite direction. So I knew I was doing something wrong. I just didn't know what.
And admitting that I needed someone to help me was hard, because I wanted to do it on my own. I felt like I could do it on my own until I realized, okay. At some point, doing it on my own is getting me nowhere, and my confidence is tanking.
I didn't feel good in my skin. I was self conscious. I wasn't doing the things that I wanted to do, such as getting in photos or going to do things with my family because I was so uncomfortable in my own skin. So I got on a call, and it was the best decision I ever made.
I stopped myself from overthinking everything and just went with my gut. And I knew this was checking off the boxes. And so my fear of failure did not trump my desire and my goals of getting where I wanted to be because I knew I could do it. I just needed help.
So fast forward, I have lost several pant sizes. I got into the jeans that I wore at my bachelorette party, like, twenty five years ago.
And they look better because my composition changed. I was skinny fat then, and now I have glutes. And I've got definition, and I'm inspiring other women, my friends, and family that see me. They're like, holy crap.
What are you doing? And then they see that I'm eating what I want. I'm not having to cook separate meals for my family. I'm no longer dieting.
And that is life changing, a hundred percent.
My coach has been my lifeline. I'm having some significant symptoms of menop perimenopause now, and it requires some tweaks that I wouldn't know how to do on my own.
So her expertise, has just been the most valuable thing ever, and I am just so grateful that I made this decision for myself because it has truly changed my life. So, you know, kudos to you for watching this video because that means that something has clicked within you to say, like, okay. Something's gotta give. Something's gotta change, and that's exciting.
