Ever wonder who is behind the program you are thinking about joining? In this behind-the-scenes vlog, WarriorBabe co-founder Nikkiey Stott walks you through one full workday. She moves from a quarterly goal-setting meeting with the leadership team to a company-wide all-hands with the 170 people who work on the WarriorBabe mission, then into filming ads, building a new ambassador program, and coaching the WarriorBabe VIP community.

Along the way, Nikkiey explains what happens behind the scenes once a woman joins. Real people, not AI, guide her from an enrollment advisor to a customer service rep who matches her with a coach, and then to a one-on-one onboarding. She also shares the Midlife Macro Kitchen, a recipe book of more than 140 recipes with calories and macros included, which the team wants in the hands of 100,000 women.

She is honest about the hard parts too: lofty 90-day goals that feel uncomfortable, switching between very different mental energies, rethinking her time management, and learning a new platform with a figure-it-out mindset. She also makes a quick protein pasta dinner from ground beef she cooked the night before.

Key takeaways

  • Setting lofty goals means leaning into uncomfortable conversations, because you have to move through the discomfort if you want things to look different in 90 days.
  • Nikkiey blocks her week by type of work: half of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday go to meetings, and the other days are for admin work and breathing room.
  • Switching between meetings, filming and coaching takes different mental energy, so grouping similar tasks into the same days makes the load easier.
  • The only way to learn something new is to take action and figure it out along the way, even when you feel like you have no idea what you are doing.
  • WarriorBabe clients are guided by real people at every step: an enrollment advisor, a customer service rep who matches them with a coach, and a coach-led onboarding.
  • Nikkiey describes transformations with WarriorBabe coaches as something women carry through over six to 12 months.
  • The Midlife Macro Kitchen recipe book has over 140 recipes, each with calories, macros, ingredients and instructions.
  • For a fast high-protein dinner, Nikkiey reuses ground beef cooked the night before and mixes it with protein pasta and pasta sauce.

Nikkiey: Welcome to a day in the life of building WarriorBabe. I'm bringing you guys behind the scenes. I just got done with my morning routine. I like to have some peace before the fun starts. But now I'm sitting down at the computer and we're about to get into it.

Today's a big one. Today we have our Ops weekly meeting, where we are diving into our Q3, the quarterly goals that each of our departments is focused on at a leadership and executive level. Then I will be diving into another meeting, where we meet monthly with our entire company, which is made up of 170 amazing individuals who show up every single day for this mission. Then I'll be filming content for our marketing team, doing a podcast episode, and later getting to pour into our WarriorBabe VIP coaching and do a whole community call with them. Some other little things will be sprinkled throughout, like projects that I'm working on and initiatives that I have to take.

But I'm really excited for you guys to be here, because you get to see what it looks like behind the scenes of building WarriorBabe, and all the people involved in this mission of helping women feel more comfortable and confident in their skin. We've already helped over 100,000 women to date, and this is just the beginning. We're just getting started, and we have so many fun things in the pipeline. So let's get to it, guys.

Okay, we just got done with the operations leadership meeting at the executive level, where we set our Q3 goals. That conversation was a bit challenging, in good ways and also uncomfortable ways for many of us on the team, because we're setting lofty goals. We want the business to look different in 90 days. In order for that to happen, we have to move through the uncomfortable and lean into it, and collaboratively talk about those things with each member of the team and the department heads. So uncomfortable, but also exciting at the same time.

Now I'm going to grab something to eat really quick, go to the bathroom, and then we have an all-hands meeting where we meet with the entire company. We talk high level about some of the things that have been going on in the past month, goals that we're aiming for, shoutouts, client testimonials, and just a whole camaraderie amongst the whole team.

That about wraps up the all-hands meeting that we do company-wide. I think what would surprise some of you watching this who may have never seen behind the scenes is the white glove service that we give to our clients. They truly matter. We're so high touch on the back end, from when a customer comes into our ecosystem, to the number of touch points they have with a real human being, not AI, a real human being on the back end. Once they buy into our program, it's a concierge service, from the touch point of the closer, which is a sales rep or the enrollment advisor, to a customer service rep who then decides what coach they're going to go with. From there, the coach meets them for an onboarding.

Overall, you guys can see there's so much heart in every single individual that is a part of this team. We truly operate as one unit. That requires those of us who are leaders to look at everybody who is a part of this mission, encourage them, and push them to lean in and show up in the ways that they are a part of this mission. So yeah, it's really cool that we all get to work together. We wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for every single person who wakes up every day and chooses to do this work and chooses to create a change, from one person who's never heard of WarriorBabe before, who gets on the call with an enrollment advisor and talks about their most painful experiences or deepest desires around achieving their body composition, changing their body or changing their health, and carries it all the way through, after six months or 12 months, to a transformation with our coaches.

So all glory to God in this. I'm so grateful and so thankful and feeling so blessed that we have a team like this. Sky's the limit here. We have new goals and we're going to go after them.

Okay, switching gears. Part of my day is also actually making the content that you guys see. I'm about to film some ads for our marketing team that are selling our Macro Method product, or some other things the marketing team will need. I think it's kind of funny, because here I'm just vibing out with you guys, casually talking to the camera, especially in a vlog like this, just normal conversation. But then I'm about to jump into filming ads, and it's completely different energy. I don't want to say performing, but you have to show up being convicting and have that authority stance behind the camera. You've got to create that change in the people who are watching. So bear with me with the whiplash, because I'm so conversational here with y'all, and you're about to see me show up differently when it comes to filming. So let's go film.

At 55 years old, Kim quit sugar. She cleaned up her eating. She walked miles every single day. Her scale never moved once, not even a pound. Two weeks into this program, everything changed. If you've ever felt like your body just refuses to respond, watch this.

So you guys can see how fun recording content is. I'm about to switch locations to film more ad content. What you just saw was me filming testimonial content, meaning the team is most likely using our before and afters and then using those clips to talk about the transformations these women had. Now I'm going to go film some longer ad content.

I say all this because what I wish people understood about building something like this, and what I've learned over the last eight years, is that you go in and out of different mental energies throughout the day. I've tried to get better, and I have been better about this over the years. I'm in a new bucket of growth with the company where I need to reevaluate and reflect on my time management and the things I have my hands in. I say this because you saw me go into meetings, and now I'm going into ad content, and that requires a different level of mental energy. Later I'll be in the community, pouring into them. I love it all, but there are definitely tips and tricks to take away, like creating days for blocking content or days for being all meetings. What I've done recently is make half of my day on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday meetings. The other days are sometimes for me to breathe and do admin work behind the computer. It just so happens I'm flying out this week, so I had to cram the beginning of my week with all of the things. So yeah, I'm going in and out of mental energies and bandwidths here.

Taking a quick break from doing content, because I have to jump on a three o'clock meeting for a project that I'm currently working on. Let me talk about this project really quick, because guys, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. But we're figuring it out every single day and using the resources at our fingertips to keep this project moving. The goal is to build out an entire affiliate ambassador program of women who love this brand and can stand behind it. Kind of like an army, if you will, because we believe that we have more women to reach. In order to do that, we need more women standing behind us, a part of this mission, who are willing and able to reach those women.

So we are inside of TikTok Shop, learning how to navigate that platform in order to reach these affiliates. We're in the process of building out our product catalog, and one of the products we're having these affiliates use is a recipe book. We created this: the Midlife Macro Kitchen. It's a recipe book of over 140 different recipes, with calories and macros included, along with ingredients and instructions on how to make each meal. We want this to be in the hands of 100,000 women, and in order to do that, we've got to have an army to do it.

So we are literally in the process of building out TikTok Shop affiliates and learning all of what that entails. Right now we've been in TikTok affiliate creator search, and we've been in Euka. The conversation I was having earlier with my assistant was about the back end of the Euka platform, which is actually really cool, and I highly recommend it for those of you who are building brands and looking to do something similar to what we're doing. It helps you create outreach agents and messages that reach these creators at mass scale. So that's what we're working on. Again, I still have no idea what I'm doing, but I know the only way to learn how to do what you're doing is by taking action and figuring it out along the way. You've got to have a figure-it-out mentality when you're running it.

Back to filming content. Again, what I wish people understood about building a business is the different hats you have to wear throughout the day and the different mental energies you have to go in and out of. This is the perfect example of what building behind the scenes looks like. I'm in content one minute, in the weeds of strategy the next, and now I'm getting back into filming content.

Filming content is done. I got everything done that I needed to. Now I've got 45 minutes until the ambassador call, where I get to talk to all the ambassadors who are currently in our program. So I'm going to make some food. This might be the calmest 45 minutes I get today, so let's make some dinner.

I already cooked up some ground beef last night, so I'm just going to make some protein pasta. I've made this before and it tastes so good together. So I'm just going to make some of this, put the ground beef in, and then add some pasta sauce, which is somewhere in the fridge.

Okay, fed now. Now it's go time. Let's dive into the ambassador call. What's going on, everybody?

Okay, guys, that is a wrap on today. I just finished up the WarriorBabe VIP coaching call with Maggie, and my brain is honestly fried in all of the best ways. Those are one of my favorite calls to be a part of, because our VIP coaching community is so near and dear to my heart. They invest in themselves in a big way to be a part of that program, and so many of them are showing up and doing the work that is asked of them in the program, and they are totally transforming their lives. So being able to pour into them once a month is a true blessing.

That about wraps up everything for the day. I'm going to finish up some little things, but mainly unplug, go shower, and go lay horizontal on the couch with Maverick. If you stayed this long in the video, thank you for hanging out and for being a part of what it looks like to build WarriorBabe on the back end. I'm grateful you made it this far. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments, and I'll see you guys in the next one. Peace out.
